1Day@ATime…

been wanting to blog for the longest time but i’ve made a promise to God that i would put a halt to my blogging & not dwell on my stuffed up website but instead to focus on Him during the lent period. somehow i got a feeling He punished me cos i’ve spent too much time blogging and that He wanted me to be more prayerful and to detach myself from my pc for a while. i’m glad i did. i have to say it was nice to take sometime off for a while to reflect so much so that even after Easter, i was still enjoying my ‘holiday’ .

i’ve resigned to the fact that i cant do anything much about my website problem esp with all the missing photos (that’s huge man!!). i jus have to get up and start from where i’ve left off and not to brood too much what i cant resolve. at the same time. if  God  permits,  i’ll reload the photos once again one by one, post by post. i just hope i’ll still be able to retrieve them from my hard drive. oh God! this is just cruel and tedious!

anyway, suziesite will be up and running again. i’ve lost quite a number of readers (not that i have many ) due to the unplanned break but its ok. i’m sure i’m able to pull myself right back up. hopefully with your support and with God’s grace i’ll pull thru this taking 1day@atime… thanks for your patience guys. God’s blessings to each and everyone of you. luv ya!

dont ask me. i’m pissed right now. it’s hectic enough for me doing mostly everything at home all by myself, now i’m also busy trying to rectify my website problem. some idiot hacked into my admin and stuffed up my site nearly 2 weeks ago. i cant get access to my site not even my wordpress admin. being such a noob in techie stuff like this, i’m totaly lost . i’m clueless what exactly happened. checked up with the wordpress support forum didnt do much help cos i just couldnt understand them, bit too technical for me. and so they advised me to replace my wordpress to a fresh new version. i didnt know how to, so this dumbo (trying to be smart), removed the whole wordpress and replaced with a new one. so guess what.  i lost everything!! thanks to the backup i did last december i managed to retreive some file back. but for the life of me i dont understand why my posts restoration were only done up to 19th oct 07. so i’ve lost all my input from the 20th oct to 1st week of feb 08. that’s a total of like nearly 4 months of blogs i’ve lost!  all my hardwork (well not really la..just exagerate abit..) flushed down the toilet bowl. & the worst of all, all my images i’ve uploaded in most of my posts are all gone!!!!   AAAARRRRGGGGGHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

there are times when i experienced dryness in my relationship with God. many times i feel that my prayer has become more rigid and mechanical. reciting the same old thing like saying the singapore pledge, just as long as i’m done with my prayers. but that’s not what God really wants. He wants me to have a more personalised relationship with him. truthfully, i’m very easily distracted. i have difficulty in focusing.  i didnt take the time to really pray from the bottom of my heart, with a contrite heart, thru my inner feelings, with my deepest sincererity. i feel really ashamed and guilty. i know that God knows and sees everything. my doings, my thots, my heart’s desire, He knows. so there’s really nothing that can ever escape from  Him…

in our day to day lives, we would at one time or another focus on certain person, or things or event because such are of interest and of importance. take for eg. if i happen to bring my kids to the playground, i must make sure my eyes are fixed on them so i do not lose sight of them for a second just in case they may be kidnapped or something. or i’ve got to keep on posting regularly in my blog so as to keep it alive and maintain my readers. keeping my eyes glued to the payperpost opportunities on the computer screen so i wouldnt miss out on any good paid post  .

with the above eg. and alot more of coz, it is neccessary that we are focused and  attentive. in this way, we will experience pleasure and happiness in life, gaining security in life. i guess, with something very important to us we will not just give passing attention. 

it will be nice if we could apply this in our christian life. in fact, He is the most important aspect of our life. how could we not be paying more attention on Him. we will not be living life fully unless we have lived out christianity successfully. to gain entry to the Kingdom of God, just do what we’ve been doing all this while among other things - focus. but this time…include Him….first…
